All the diamonds that we sell, whether in our shop, on-line or over the telephone, are certified diamonds. This means that they have been assessed and valued by one of the top three, internationally recognised diamond certification laboratories: IGI, GIA or HRD. You will receive a report with your diamond that endorses its attributes and value.

Cut, Polish and Symmetry

You should seek a diamond that displays expert cut, polish and symmetry; these assets are crucial in creating your diamond’s unique sparkles and how it radiates light. Features to Avoid when Choosing your Diamond

When choosing your diamond you should also be aware of the following:

• Fluorescence – this will cause loss of light radiance under UV light conditions (sunlight, artificial lighting)
• Fracture filled diamond – this practice causes uneven dispersion of light
• Laser treated diamonds will also cause uneven dispersion of light
• Uneven girdle – this can disrupt the light distribution throughout the diamond
