The best things in life are free, right? The notion that love can be equated to monetary spend is something of an archaic idea. Unfortunately, even this wasn’t enough to get them to the altar, as the couple broke up before they got married. On the bright side, Hilton auctioned the ring and gave the money to hurricane Katrina victims.
