Resizing

8.1 A resize of 3 sizes smaller or larger than its current size is possible at a fee of £45 for plain band engagement rings. If resize is greater than 3 sizes, then the ring would have to be remade and therefore appropriate charges will apply. The fee will be confirmed following consultation with our production department.
8.2 For engagements rings that are set with diamond side stones (including bespoke rings), these will need to be assessed to ensure a resize is possible or whether it must be remade and therefore appropriate prices will apply. This will be confirmed following consultation with our sales and production teams.
8.3 Eternity rings: Full eternity. Due to the nature of the setting, all rings will need to be assessed primarily as to whether a resize can take place or whether a ring needs to be a remade. The fee will be confirmed following a ring assessment.
8.4 Wedding bands. Plain wedding rings can be resized for a fee of £45. Diamond set wedding bands must be assessed prior to resize to ensure it is feasible due to the nature of the ring.
8.5 During the resizing of your ring if the engraving is removed due to the polishing process required, you would be liable to pay to re-engrave your ring.
8.6 After a ring has been resized, it is ineligible for a refund or exchange.
8.7 During the months of December, we are unable to offer our resizing services due to high volumes of production in our workshops. This will resume in January after the holiday period.
8.8 Rhodium – All of our white gold items are Rhodium plated, this is a standard industry practice. Rhodium will wear over time, and require re-application. The length of time this will take varies depending upon the level of acidity in the skin, and the possible contact with substances such as chlorine. The company cannot be held responsible for the length of time the rhodium plating will last, due to a large amount of variable contributing factors. This does not constitute a manufacturing fault, Rhodium is applied afterwards to improve the colour of the item, and holds no structural benefit.
8.9 Surface scratching will occur if jewellery is worn daily, to protect your jewellery, you should have it serviced regularly, whereby the surface scratches can be removed. Gold, Platinum and other precious metals are extremely malleable, this is why they are used for jewellery making. They are susceptible to impact damage and to misshaping under pressure. Jewellery should be removed before undertaking any physical activity that may cause impact or friction or pressure to be applied to the band.
